Lyla and Jayden Adams, two young competitors in the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, recently showcased their remarkable talents at the FUJI BJJ Massachusetts Jiu-Jitsu Tournament, leaving a lasting impression with their undefeated performances.
In the Kids GI division, Lyla Adams demonstrated incredible prowess in the 6-7 years old, grey belt category & intermediate category GI & NOGI, competing at -70lbs. Her journey to gold was nothing short of spectacular as she navigated through a field of tough opponents to emerge with a flawless 4-0 record. Lyla’s technical skills, resilience, and determination were evident as she secured victory after victory, proving herself as a force to be reckoned with.
Not to be outdone, Jayden Adams ventured into the Kids GI division, competing in the 8-9 years old, white belt category at -90lbs. Despite facing fierce competition, Jayden maintained his composure and emerged victorious in all two of his matches, clinching the gold medal. His flawless 2-0 record is a testament to his dedication and the excellent training he has received.
Both Lyla and Jayden were coached mat-side by Travis Stevens, co-owner of FUJI Martial Arts, an Olympic Silver Medalist, and a John Danaher Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt.
