The FUJI BJJ Massachusetts Summer Open, hosted by FUJI Martial Arts Academy in Woburn, showcased the dedication, skill, and competitive spirit of our team. Under the expert guidance of FUJI BJJ Owner Brian Olson, a 4x Judo Olympian and Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, alongside fellow Olympians Jimmy Pedro and Travis Stevens, this event marked a significant milestone as the first corporate-run FUJI BJJ event in Massachusetts under new ownership.
Held at the Tyngsboro Sports Center, the event attracted over 200 registrants from around the region, creating a vibrant and competitive atmosphere. FUJI Woburn students played a crucial role, working tirelessly to set up and run the event while balancing their own competition schedules. Their hard work paid off, resulting in impressive individual and team performances.
Leading the team were our dedicated coaches, Travis Stevens, Scotty Georgaklis, and Jessica Camplese-Rodrigues, who provided invaluable support and guidance throughout the event.
